Business Process Management

Businesses have to deal with an environment of constant change including government policy, rules and regulations, customers, technology, globalization, and competition. In today's increasingly sophisticated and interconnected economy, businesses differentiate by how they provide services or products-business process.

Business Process Management (BPM) is a systematic approach to improving an organization's business processes by making them more effective, more efficient, and more capable of adapting to change. BPM considers processes to be strategic assets of an organization that must be understood, managed, and improved to deliver value added products and services to clients.

We take a holistic approach to promote business effectiveness and efficiency while striving for innovation, flexibility, and integration with technology.

  • Design: Process Design encompasses both identification and definition of existing processes as well as design of future state processes. Areas of focus include process flows, actors, alerts and notifications, escalations, standard operating procedures, service level agreements, and task transfer mechanisms.

  • Model: Modeling takes the design and introduces combinations of variables to determine how the process might operate under different circumstances. Being able to simulate changes to the business process based on real life data allows the comparison of various simulations to determine the optimal improvement.

  • Execute: Implementing the best process design typically requires a combination of software and human intervention. Automating a process definition requires a flexible and comprehensive infrastructure, which often rules out implementing these systems in a legacy IT environment.

  • Monitor: Monitoring encompasses the tracking of individual processes, so that information on the performance of one or more processes can be gathered. This information can be used to work with customers and suppliers to improve their connected processes.
  • Optimize: Optimizing processes involves identifying potential or actual bottlenecks and potential opportunities for cost savings or other improvements. Applying these enhancements to the process design creates greater business value.

Through workshops and presentations, we train employees on the use of selected process management tools so that they understand the critical nature of process management. This also helps achieve cultural changes needed to improve and sustain processes.

Our consultants have years of experience in process-based thinking and facilitation, training and mentoring skills. All possess exceptional analytical, oral, and written skills. Each is chosen for their ability to lead, work with teams and understand team dynamics. We bring proven track records and expertise in leading process management, quality improvement, and measurement and monitoring activities in both small and large organizations.
